1 Day: Tallinn (Reval)
Arrival in Tallinn the capital of Estonia and inspection of the old part of the town. The old town of Tallinn, the smallest Baltic capital, was put down in 1997 beside Riga and Vilnius on the list of the world cultural heritage of UNESCO, Tallinn with more than 400 000 Einw. is a living, impulsive but still quiet capital with a city center and town wall very well preserved. Town inspection with detailed historical explanations.
2 Day: Tallinn
Sightseeing: Rocca al Mare, Baltic Sea walk in Pirita there visitation of the olympic centre and a convent. In the morning visitation of the Hansabank in Tallin with declarations of the joung banking. After that visitation the farm-museum in Rocca al Mare, near Tallin. Bustrip about 100km. Overnight stay in Tallin.
3 Day: bustrip Lahemaa national park
Visit of the manor Palmse (guided tour through the mansion and the unique garden, continuation of the journey to the manor Kolga, inspection of the manor house, afterwards proceeding to Sagadi. After visit of the forest museum in Sagadi, lunch in the mansion of Sagadi. High moor wandering in the Viruhochmoor about 4-5 km. Afterwards coffee drinking by a nicely situated restaurant by the sea. Bus journey about 160 km. Early in the evening return journey to Tallinn. Overnight stay in Tallinn.
4 Day: With the bus from Tallinn to Tartu 210 km
Tartu-Riga 240 km. Tartu, a town which was new built up after the fire in 1755 in the style of the Classicism, partially with baroque elements. Especially the skew house is worth seeing, after lowering of the ground-water level the building, standing on rafts, bent. Worthwhile the university building with museum, interesting also the pompeji cover paintings of F. Redlin. There are more than 32 museums. A town guidance with next guidance through the university round the visit. Afterwards journey to Riga and overnight there.
5 Day: Riga
Riga, the biggest Baltic town, was founded 1201 of German businesspeople and priests of the Hanse.The town celebrated 2001 800-year-old jubilee. Unmistakably the historical roots are especially in the old part of the town. Hanse houses, mighty town churches, patrician's houses and many street names remind of the common European past. One calls Riga also the pearl of the jugendstil. In the afternoon by bus to Jurmala the Latvian Baltic bath with many nice wooden villas of the previous Jhd. and wide beach. Bus journey about 60 km. In the evening organ recital in the cathedral of Riga. (This can also be in another evening in Riga)
